All PowerPlay Yacht Charter cruises are private. Only your party will be on the vessel.

The captain is responsible for the vessel, crew and guests. Decisions on all matters are final and must be followed. When in doubt, ask the captain!

Yes. Our skipper, Jim Dempsey, is licensed as a U.S. Coast Guard 100 ton master captain. He is certified in CPR and AED (Automatic Electronic Defibrillator). The yacht is a fully insured charter vessel. All passengers must sign a liability waiver and consent form before boarding. Life jackets are available on board under the rear bench seat. Four fire extinguishers are located on the boat, as well as an engine room automatic fire-suppression system.

Although we do not provide alcohol, passengers are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages and coolers on board for the cruise. Bottled water is provided.

NO illegal drugs are allowed on board. Period. Marijuana, while legal in certain states, is illegal under federal law, including on Lake Erie. No smoking of cigarettes, cigars or e-cigs is allowed on board the yacht.

Only bottled water, but you can bring your own food and drink on board. The PowerPlay Yacht includes two refrigerators, freezer, electronic stovetop and microwave. Feel free to bring a cooler with your beverages.

Yes, it’s a great place to sun and take photos. Please do not walk out on the bow while the vessel is underway.

Passengers are able to listen to their own playlist on board by connecting their phone to our Bluetooth receiver. The yacht is equipped with an impressive JL Audio Sound System. SiriusXM satellite radio is also available. We can provide a DJ and karaoke upon advanced request for an additional cost. The boat has four air conditioning units: one forward, one in the cabin and two in the spacious cockpit for hot summer days.

Yes, children are allowed on board. They must wear U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vests at all times on the vessel and docks. We recommend parents bring life vests for their children since they will need them on the dock.

The Zodiac Deluxe Dinghy is a 15-foot-long RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) that can accommodate four adults and is powered by a 25hp Yamaha outboard motor. It is equipped with steer wheel, navigation lights, handrails, fire extinguisher and VHF radio. Life jackets and flares are located under the driver’s seat.

Ages 6 and up accompanied by an adult.

Yes. The yacht’s hydraulic swim platform lowers into the water and has a boarding ladder, where swimmers can easily climb off and on to the vessel. Floatation devices available, swim at your own risk.

Occasionally it will rain, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a fun day on the water! The PowerPlay yacht has hardtop and rear canvas bimini to prevent your party from getting wet and has yacht windshield wipers. If there is stormy or heavy weather, the captain reserves the right to postpone or reschedule the charter for safety reasons.

Yes, there are two luxury restrooms on the yacht for your convenience. Restrooms are marine heads. Placing any paper, feminine products or solid waste down the heads IS PROHIBTED. Used paper products are to be placed in trash bags under the sinks.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before your scheduled cruise will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the cruise are nonrefundable. Gift certificates can be issued in lieu of cancellation. Guests can reschedule due to inclement rough weather.

Captain Jim formerly led research and development for Purell and is well-versed in sanitary disinfection protocols. All touch surfaces are wiped down with hospital-grade disinfectants before and after each cruise. Your party is welcome to wear masks, but it is not required.

Yes, tips are always appreciated. For your convenience, the captain and crew accept cash, Venmo, PayPal and Zelle.
